What is Cloud Computing | Gyansabha

Image
Cloud Computing What is Cloud Computing Cloud computing refers to the delivery of on-demand computing services over the internet. Instead of running applications or storing data on local servers or personal computers, cloud computing utilizes a network of remote servers hosted on the internet to handle various computing tasks. Scalability, flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and increased accessibility are just a few advantages of cloud computing. Businesses and individuals can scale their computing resources up or down as necessary, pay only for the resources they use, and access their data and applications from any location with an internet connection thanks to this technology.

Database Users | Gyansabha

Image
Database Users There are 6 types of database users Database Administrators Authorizing access to database, Coordinating and monitoring database use, Acquiring software and hardware resources as needed, Accountable for breach of security or poor system response time. Database Designers Identify data to be stored in database, Select appropriate structure for storing data, Communicate with all users and understand their requirements, Design a database that meets users requirements. End Users In End Users there are 4 types: Casual End Users Occasionally access a database, Needs different information each time, Use sophisticated database query language. E.g. middle or high level managers. Parametric End Users Constantly query and update the database, Uses standard types of Queries called canned transactions. E.g. Bank tellers, Railway reservation clerks etc. Sophisticated End Users Users who use database to meet complex requirements. E.g. Engineers, scientists, business analysts. Stand-alon...

Symbols of Flowchart | Gyansabha

Image
A flowchart is a graphical representation of an algorithm. It makes use of symbols that are connected among them to indicate the flow of information and processing. Symbols of Flowchart      Start/End (also known as Terminal) An Oval represents a start and end point of flowchart. Input/Output A parallelogram represents input or output. Take input from device and display the output from device. Process A rectangle represents a process. All arithmetic process (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division) are indicated by symbol. Decision A diamond indicates a decision. These symbols based on yes/no or true/false operations. Arrows A line is a connector that shows relationships between the representative shapes. Machine Language | Gyansabha

Image
Machine Language The machine written as springs of 1’s and 0’s. The computer understands only one language without using a translation program this language is machine language. A machine language normal has a two part format. OPCODE (operation code)  OPERAND (Address/Location) The 1st part is the operation code (OP code) that informs the computer what function has to be performed. The 2nd part is an operand that informs the computer where to find or stored the data to be man cleated every computer has a set of OPCODE called as instruction set of computer. Advantages: There is no need to translate machine language program. Program written in machine language are executed very fast as there is no translation. Disadvantages: Multi-depend: Multi-depend as the internal design of every computer is different, the machine language is also different. Hence, if the computer changes the program or learn a new machine language and have to read write existing program. Difficult to modify: It i...

Generation of Computer

Image
Generation of Computer        First Generation ( 1946-1959 ) This computer used thousands of vacuum tube ENIAC, EDVAC, UNIVAC, EDSAC and IBM 701 belong to this generation. Vacuum whose a high speed electronic device available at that time. The vacuum tube good perform operation this generation and they were replete as 1 st generation the instruction where return and machine language and assembly language and where input a computer punched paper card. Second Generation ( 1959-1965 ) In second generation of computer transistor where used which where a better electronic device as compere to vacuum tube. The high level programming language such as FORTRNT (Formula translation), COBOL (Common Business Oriented Language), ALGOL (Algorithm Language), etc. Third Generation ( 1965-1971 ) Integrate circuit (IC) where developed in 3rd generation which consisted combination of transistors, resistors and capacitors at the start the SSI (Small Scale Integration) whose use which c...
